Simple Espresso Timer

What?

This app can be used when you need to time how long it takes to make your daily espresso.

You can use the microphone to detect when you start your espresso machine (don't worry, nothing is recorded or stored anywhere). When the app detect a sound that is sufficiently high, it will start counting.

If you do not wish to use the microphone, you can also just use a start and a stop button to start and stop the timer.

I've tried to make it as simple as possible, and thereby easy to use. I hope you will agree

Here's how

• When you start the app for the first time, it will ask for permission to use your microphone for listening for sound, and don't worry, no sound is recorded or stored anywhere, the microphone is merely used for listening.

• This is what the app will look like when you start if. You have to admit it...it is simple right

  

• If you have given the app permission to use your microphone it will start listening for sound. When a sufficiently high sound is detected, the timer will start automatically, counting up from 0

  

• At some point, your shot is done and you would like to stop the timer. To do so you just press the "Stop" button (which appeared when the timer started).

  To make it easier for you to hit it, the button is the entire dark brown area.

  The timer will now stop and you can enjoy your brew.

  

• When you're ready for another shot, you just tap the "Another brew" button, the timer will reset and the app wil start listening for sound again. It's that simple!

• On the settings page you can enable or disable the microphone feature. If the microphone is enabled, you can also set the sensitivity of the microphone here.

  If at some point you have declined the apps request to use your microphone, you need to enable it again. This is done in settings on your iPhone

  

• If you disable the microphone feature, you can still use the app.

  The timer page now has a start button that you can use, so to start it, you just tap the "Start" button.

  To make it easier for you to hit it, the button is the entire dark brown area.

  The timer will now start counting up from 0

  

• At some point, your shot is done and you would like to stop the timer. To do so you just press the "Stop" button (which replaced the "Start" button when you started the timer).

  Again, you can tap anywhere on the dark brown area.

  The timer will now stop and you can enjoy your brew.

  When you're ready for another shot, you just tap the start button again and the timer will reset and start over
